Meet Travis

Travis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 15 years of experience working in various mental health settings including psychiatric hospitals, community mental health clinics, and a drug and alcohol rehab. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2008, from Texas A&M University, and his master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015, from Sam Houston State University. With a passion for helping individuals, Travis has worked in private practice for three years utilizing CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques to achieve client goals.

Travis is a fierce ally for the LBGTQ+ community. He is experienced in helping people who want to learn how to live without shame or guilt, managing same sex or multiple partner relationships, and transitioning genders.

Travis passionate about helping those that experience addiction. He has lost several family member to drug and alcohol abuse. Travis has years of experience working in a drug and alcohol rehab. He provides a modern mental health alternative to 12 Step programs using evidence based research. People with addictions are not powerless.

Travis has felt like an outsider his entire life due to his brain working differently than most. Society calls us disordered when our brain doesn’t conform to the standard. Travis supports people embracing who they are instead of trying to be “normal.”
